Integrate With Your Stack

Use ScrapeBadger through an official SDK, a standard API request, a real-time connection, or the tools already in your workflow.

Python SDK

Build asynchronous data pipelines with typed responses, automatic pagination, retry handling, and access to the complete Twitter API.

Node.js SDK

Add Twitter data to Node.js and TypeScript applications with type definitions, async pagination, and support for both ESM and CommonJS.

REST API

Connect from any backend or programming language using standard HTTP requests. Responses arrive as structured JSON that can be stored, transformed, or passed into another service.

WebSockets and Webhooks

Receive new tweets through a persistent WebSocket connection or deliver them directly to your application through signed webhooks. Available with Twitter Streams for account and query monitoring.

MCP for AI Tools

Give compatible AI agents access to Twitter profiles, tweets, search, trends, communities, lists, and monitoring tools through ScrapeBadger's MCP server.

ScrapeBadger CLI

Search tweets, retrieve profiles, inspect trends, and export results as JSON, CSV, Markdown, or terminal-friendly tables without writing an application.

Started with the Apify actor, then moved to the API for more control. The 1,000 free credits were enough to build our MVP. Now processing 2M+ tweets monthly.

Perfect for academic research. The community and trends endpoints give us data we couldn't get anywhere else. Documentation could use more examples, but support is responsive.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Twitter data can I access with ScrapeBadger?

ScrapeBadger provides separate API categories for Tweets, Users, Lists, Communities, Trends, Geo data, Spaces and broadcasts, and Twitter Streams. You can retrieve tweet details, replies, quote tweets, retweeters, liking users, user profiles, timelines, followers, following, mentions, Lists, Community posts, regional trends, place information, Spaces, and other publicly available Twitter/X data.

Do I need a Twitter developer account or X OAuth credentials?

No. ScrapeBadger requests authenticate through the x-api-key header using the API key from your ScrapeBadger dashboard. You do not need to create an X developer application or supply an X bearer token for the documented ScrapeBadger Twitter endpoints.

Does ScrapeBadger support Twitter Lists and Communities?

Yes. The Lists API can retrieve List details, List tweets, and search results from within a List. The Communities API can retrieve Community details and Community tweets or search for Communities related to a topic.

Can I get Twitter trends for a particular location?

Yes. ScrapeBadger provides endpoints for current Twitter trends and location-based trends. The Geo API can also search for Twitter place entities and retrieve details about a specific place. Location-based results depend on the geographic information and trend data available from Twitter/X.

Can I retrieve information about Twitter Spaces and live broadcasts?

Yes. The live-events endpoints can retrieve available information about Twitter Spaces and broadcasts, including their identifiers, hosts or broadcasters, titles, schedules, and current status. These lookup endpoints are different from Twitter Streams, which are used to monitor new tweets.

Does ScrapeBadger support real-time Twitter monitoring?

Yes. Twitter Monitoring API can monitor selected accounts or search queries and deliver matching tweets through a WebSocket connection or webhook. Use the standard REST endpoints for on-demand lookups. Use Twitter Streams when your application needs continuing delivery of newly detected tweets.

Does the ScrapeBadger Twitter API have rate limits?

Yes. Request limits depend on the ScrapeBadger plan. Higher-volume plans provide higher request-per-minute allowances. See the pricing table for the current limits per plan tier.
